To make this Runner:
I used white cotton, I think it was about 68 inches long.
I used the whip stitch mostly for the embroidery.
I hemmed the edges.
Add the eyelet on the under side, and sew the ribbon on top. So you're sandwiching the cotton.
I then added a two layer bow and attached it with a few hand stitches.
Naturally I had to make my crafty area look lovely, so I created fabric boards.
To make these boards:
I cut up an old shoe box from Bass for the backing using an xacto knife.
The fabric was a gift from my grandmother, she was going to make a blouse out of it. :)
I measured the fabric and attached it on the back with a hot glue gun (super easy)
The ribbon I measured 2 inches apart for the most beribboned board. The other ones I eyeballed the style then measured to make sure it was even.
The photo's were extra's from my mothers photo box. I wouldn't advise tearing apart photo albums, you'll get a finger shaking. ;)
Finnally, I decided I didn't have enough photo's of my handsom boyfriend. The photo is from our trip to Seattle over the winter holiday season. It was aboslutely freezing that day, so we ducked into as many antique shops as possible. He's the absolute best, he never complains when I want to do a little shopping. So patient.
To make this Frame:
I covered a piece of cardboard with blue cotton I got from my grandma
I put the photo centered on top
I made the caption by layering black and white card stock
The glittery little something is a vintage shoe clip that I got on ebay.
The ribbon is left over from the brooks brother gift wrap we had at christmas
